Breaking into the industry
Goodbye Hollywood. It’s time to close the casket. From the pandemic, to the double strikes (WGA & SAG), accompanied with terrible box office flops, the waste of money and a diminishing audience has turned Hollywood into a ghost town.
The industry is not over, it’s changing. Investments from well established production companies are leaving California, and independent studios are making a come back. They’re looking to make productions in states with better tax incentives and Texas is a major player.
This business is tough but success is possible. You need contacts, leads, and access to a working network. It wasn’t easy for me but with hard work, determination, and some help from above, I managed to make a career out of it. And now, you can too.
